Daily Mass Guidelines

Bishop Knestout dispenses all of the faithful of the Diocese of Richmond from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days until further notice

NOTE: Wear face mask at all times, except for reception of Holy Communion. After receiving Holy Communion, replace mask immediately.  Arrive at least 20 minutes early (7:40 AM) so that check-in and seating can proceed smoothly.

  1. Before you enter the area, someone will ask you the following questions .
  2. A) Have you or anyone in household had a fever in the past two (2) weeks?
  3. B) Do you or anyone in your household have a new cough or new shortness of breath?
  4. C) Have you come into contact with anyone who is positive with COVID-19 in the past two weeks?

NOTE: If the answer to these questions is “Yes,”or you are not wearing a face covering, we cannot allow you to enter the worship space. These actions results from combined directives from the state and the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.

  1. Remaining consistent with the weekend pro cedure, please enter in the side door nearest the Faith and Life Center off Garrow Street. Remember one (1) at a time and 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing, as mandated by CDC and government guidelines.
  1. First, someone will direct you to your seat, which begins with the front area. Ideally, we should have an Usher, and we pray that volunteers will offer their services. We are using center aisle seating only, unless we have an overflow.
  1. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel and the outer pews are off limits.

  1. We will direct one pew at a time for Holy Communion. Only remove you mask to receive Holy Communion. After Father places the Sacred Bread in your hand, move 6 feet away to consume. Replace your mask as you return to your seat.

  1. Following Mass, we will dismiss one pew at a time. You will exit from the door to the right from the Commons area.

  1. ALERT: We ask that as many of you as possible, please stay to help Lenny with the sanitizing of the area for tomorrow’s Mass. We need volunteers to make this process work in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
  1. For the foreseeable future, we will have no coffee Wednesdays and Fridays. Wednesday Mass is moved to 8:00 am
