Ministry Fair

The Ministry Fair is rapidly approaching and we are requesting/inviting parishioners to determine their ability to participate as the hands and feet of Christ for his Church, OUR Parish. We are in great need in many of our ministries. We're thankful to have so many new parishioners and we'd like to know you better and have you know us. A great way to do this is to participate in all aspects of our community. I'm sure there is a ministry that will match your talents and time. 1.  If you are reading this notice, you found the first change; multiple newsflash articles using the "Open Panel.

2.  The Schedule and More menus; relocates the Ministry Schedules and the Formation Schedules. Click any item of interest and the section will open.

3.  The website will now automatically adjust for your tablets and smartphones; whether they are vertical or horizontal. 

4.  We'll continue to make modifications based on the capabilities of the template and the needs of the parish.

Worship

Church Cleaning  Kathleen Myrick 877-7318

Cleans and maintains the Sanctuary. Takes care of flowers in worship area. Volunteer teams of 5-6 people are scheduled on a rotating basis. Teams meet Saturday at 8:00 a.m from this source.

Altar Flowers

Flowers in memory of a loved one or special event in your life may be placed on the altar for a donation of $40. Call the office to request a special date.

Altar Servers  - Crystal Riveeria-Silva 594-5686

Servers assist at all weekend masses, holy day masses, weddings, funerals, and special liturgies. Training is provided. Youth in grades 4 through 12 who have received the Sacrament of Eucharist are invited to serve.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion  Debbie Moore 874-4323

Distributes the Eucharist during Masses and brings the Eucharist to shut-ins. Scheduled on a monthly basis. Must have received Sacrament of Confirmation.

Greeters Madeleine Conway 874-8659

Welcomes people at the Church entrances before Masses.

Lectors Tee Fuller (804) 642-6589

Describes the theme of the liturgy, proclaims the scriptural readings and prayers of the faithful during the Liturgy of the Word. Training mandatory.

Money Counters  Bob Tardif 874-6689

Counts collections.

Music Ministry
Adult Choir - Louise Maurer 877-5021
Youth Choir/Ensemble - Michele Vallet 876-9119


Adult Choir/Cantor - The Adult Choir/Cantor provides music for the 5:00 p.m. Saturday and the 7:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Sunday Masses. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. New members are welcome!

Youth Choir/Ensemble - The Youth Choir/Ensemble provides music for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m.  Teens from 6th-12th grade who enjoy singing or playing an instrument are invited to come to a rehearsal or to contact Michele Vallet, Youth Music Minister.

Music Ministers and individual Cantors are available for weddings and other functions.

Assist in seating people before Masses, carry the collection basket, escort during Communion, straighten up the Church after Masses. Training available.
